The duration of this course is one day. This course introduces the skills necessary to use Access to analyse tables of data through creating and modifying Queries.  The course introduces simple queries using operators through to more advanced query design. Delegates will also learn how to find, filter, and print data. Designing reports will then provide the tool to produce professional results on paper or to be emailed.

This course will enable Access users to:

  • Set new and interpret existing relationships between tables
  • Create and modify Access database Objects; Queries and Reports automatically using the Wizards and manually in Design View
  • Locate records in a database using either Filters or Queries and establish the most appropriate method for a given task
  • Output data in report format to be printed or emailed, automatically using the Wizards and manually in Design View

Delegates wishing to attend this course do not require any previous experience of Access, however prior database design knowledge is useful. Delegates should have attended a formal Windows training session and be competent in the use of both mouse and keyboard.
