This course is a fully funded 30 hours programme of combined study, workshops and business coaching. At the end of this course delegates will be able to identify the skills your business needs now and in the future, find available funding for training and development now and in the future, and then evaluate the progress made and assess the return on training investment.
This course will also enable you to have an in-house training and development advocate who will have access to current funding opportunities, and they will understand how to access them for your company and your team's success.
Each company can have up to 2 employees attend this training with the ideal candidates working in HR, Training or company managers/supervisors, who are good communicators.
Course Content:
Workshop 1 (4 hr training session at venue)
- The development cycle within business
- Creating an Organisation Needs Analysis
- Creating a TNA
- Developing the beginnings of the business case for development
2 hour business coaching to follow
Workshop 2 (4 hr training session at venue)
- Looking at motivation and ability
- Learning styles
- Informal and formal learning
- Coaching a learner to succeed using the SHOOTS model
- Creating an Individual Learning Plan
2 hour business coaching to follow
Workshop 3 (4 hr training session at venue)
- Review of the development cycle
- Evaluation of training
- Kirk Patrick 4 levels of evaluation
- Return on Investment
2 hour business coaching to follow
