Business Continuity
Business Continuity Planning
What happens if… there’s a building fire, heavy snow, security alert, riot or act of terrorism?
Are you prepared and able to deliver your service or business in the event of unforeseen extraordinary circumstances?
What you will learn
Review and discuss the existing plans in place and how to determine the staffing and facilities needed to deliver a minimum acceptable level of service.
This includes:-
- Shadow planning
- Making an inventory of current assets and services
- Learning to establish minimum staffing levels
- Ensuring you can meet statutory and contract obligations
To gain the most from the course you will need to complete a pre-questionnaire 'How many people do you think you could run your business with?' Or, if you have it, bring along your existing Business Continuity Plan.
You can continue developing your knowledge with an optional one-day workshop delivered at your own workplace. The fee is dependent on numbers – please ask for more details.
- Learn how to identify and appoint Business Continuity Plan Managers and plan holders
- Draw up a bespoke Business Continuity plan specific to your organisation
